Senior advocate and amicus curiae S D Lotlikar told the court that these vehicles with digital screens for advertisement are parked around the city at intersecting roads or parking lots thereby blocking them.

Additional govt advocate Deep Shirodkar told the court that the transport department will look into the issue of permanent parking of these vehicles on footpaths and intersections and file a detailed affidavit.

As far as the registration of such vehicles is concerned, the high court said it will examine the provisions under the Motor Vehicles Act and Rules as well as circulars of the govt of Goa for charging special fees or taxes on such vehicles.
